Washington Naval Yard
(United States of America - District of Columbia - Washington)
The Washington Naval Yard exists from the year 1800 on and was one of the first naval facilities of the U.S. Navy. The complex consisted of shipyards and administrative buildings. Guns were also contructed here. During the Second World War, ships with war damaged were repaired on this location.
Nowadays it is a National Historic Landmark. The U.S. Navy Museum is also located here.
