Waldfriedhof Dahlem

This cemetery contains two German war graves of the First World War and many others from the Second World War.

On the Waldfriedhof Dahlem the grave of Nazi judge Roland Freisler is situated. He was buried anonymously in the grave of his parents in law. From 1934 to 1942 he was State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, from 1942 chairman of the so-called Volksgerichtshof. He was killed during an Allied bombardment on Berlin on 3 February 1945.
