Reflections at Bukit Chandu
(Singapore - Singapore)
This museum is housed in one of the few remaining bungaoows for British officers in Singapore. In the surrounding area, one of the heaviest battles during the Battle of Singapore took place.
Soldiers of the Malay fought on this hill until they ran out of ammunition. They resorted to hand-to-hand combat and many soldiers died on the hill. Those who survived were captured and massacred by the Japanese.
The museum is dedicated to this battle, but other aspects of the Second World War in this part os Asia are also shown.
For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
