Torre Monumental

This tower (Monumental Tower) was built in 1910 by the British residents of the city to commemorates the 100th anniversary of the May-revolution. Originally it was named "Torre de los Ingleses (Tower of the English)" but it was officialy renamed to "Torre Monumental" after the Falklands War. The local people still use the original name often.
