Falklands War Memorial Ushuaia

This memorial commemorates the Falklands war and consists of several parts:

The Wall of remembrance contain the names of the the 649 Argentine servicemen who were killed in the war for the Islas Malvinas (Falklands) in 1982.

The Monument in Plaza Islas Malvinas [/ b] commemorates the 649 Argentinian soldiers who died in the war for the Islas Malvinas (Falkland Islands) in 1982. The islands are still claimed by Argentina.

The A.R.A. General Belgrano Monument [/ b] commemorates the 323 victims who fell in the sinking of the Argentinian cruiser A.R.A. General Belgrano in the Falklands War, May 2, 1982.

A wall contains private memorials for army units and Argentine servicemen who were killed in the war for the Islas Malvinas (Falklands) in 1982.

The complex also includes a photo exhibition.
