Memorial Castle De Essenburgh Hierden

During World War II, the Castle Essenburgh in Hierden was occupied by the German Army.
Later stayed the elderly from Zaandam, Arnhem refugees, returnees from Germany and detainees of the Jodensavanne from Suriname.
