T-34/76 Turret

There are numerous T-34/76 turrets, converted to memorials, spread across the city of Volgograd, indicating the location of former frontlines and other memorable places. The text on this memorial reads:

"Here, in August 1942 - January 1943, the 124th and 149th Rifle Brigades and other units of the 62nd Army fought heroically."
