T-34/76 Turret

There are numerous T-34/76 turrets, converted to memorials, spread across the city of Volgograd, indicating the location of former frontlines and other memorable places. The inscription on the memorial reads:

"Here ran the first line of defence of the Stalingrad Front in September - November 1942."
