German Radar-station Gorilla

(Netherlands, the - South Holland - Schoonrewoerd)

In the Second World War, the Germans build a radar-base, named Gorilla, near Schoonrewoerd. The base had two radars of the type Würzburg-Riese.

Nowadays the socle of one of these radars is still present. Near the road, opposite of the socle are also some small brick buildings and a commando-bunker.
