Memorial Union-building Aachen

From 1921 on, this was the union building of Aachen. On 2 May 1933, the Nazis banned the unions. This building was occupied by the SA and two trade unionists were deported.

The plaque in the pavement is part of the project "Wege Gegen Das Vergessen" (Ways Against Forgetting).
