Bullet Impacts Mill House Lage Zwaluwe

In Lage Zwaluwe there is only the hull of a mill. This polder mill, "Schuddebeurs", was destroyed by the Germans in World War II.
The hull was spared, but the walls are full of cracks from the artillery shelling in World War II.
The miller's house was damaged in World War II. The bullet impacts are still clearly visible in many places.

During the war, forced laborers slept in the mill and the mill was used as a lookout by the Germans in connection with. the Moerdijk Bridge. The mill will soon be rented out as a holiday home.
