Commemorative Plate Second World War Vliermaalroot

Commemorative Plates at the front of the church of Vliermaalroot to remember the military and the civilian victims of the First and Second World War.

Bernard Vlasloir went missing during the Battle of Liège (Aug 6, 1914); Jean Poesmans was mortally wounded in the Trench of Death and is buried in the military cemetery of Adinkerke.

A third commemorative plate commemorates the veterans of the First World War.
