Coastal Battery "Rubha nan Sasan"
(UK: Scotland - Highland - Cove)
This British coastal battery was built in 1941 to defend Loch Ewe against a possible German invasion. The main armanant consisted of two 6 inch (152.4 mm) guns.
During the Second World War, Loch Ewe was the starting point for many Russia-bound convoys and a haven for Allied shipping. Many emplacements and bunkers were built for de defense of Loch Ewe. Many remains still exist.

It is currently abandoned.
