Polderhuis Westkapelle, Dyke and Warmuseum

(Netherlands, the - Zeeland - Westkapelle)

The "Polderhuis" where the museum is situated, tells the story of the community Westkapelle. It tell's about the origin of the vilage, the island of Walcheren, its folkrore etc.
Besides that much attention is given to the allied landings at Westkapelle in 1944, the dyke bombardment, the flooding etc.
Certainly for WW2 enhousiasts an interesting museum.
