Monument aux Morts Wissant / War Memorial Wissant
(France - Nord-Pas de Calais - Wissant)
This memorial, at the town hall, commemorates the inhabitants of Wissant who died in the First and Second World War.
Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial. Sometimes also the names of those who died in the war of 1870-1871, the war in Algeria and/or the war in Indochina are written on the memorial.
