Monument aux Morts Lille / War Memorial Lille
(France - Nord-Pas de Calais - Lille)
This memorial commemorates the inhabitants of Lille who died in the First and Second World War.
Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial. Sometimes also the names of those who died in the war of 1870-1871, the war in Algeria and/or the war in Indochina are written on the memorial.
