Joe Mann Memorial
The Joe Mann monument commemorates the liberation of the Best by the allied forces. The reason that the monument is called "Joe Mann", is due to the action of the U.S. Paratrooper Joe Mann. He protected the lives of his comrades, by throwing himself on a grenade.
