Memorial "Fabio Filzi & Cesare Battisti"

This memorial is dedicated to the two Austro-Italian soldiers Fabio Filzi and Cesare Battisti, who deserted the Austro-Hungarian army to join the Italian army in the beginning of the First World War. They were captured here by the Austro-Hungarian army in July 1916 and sentenced to death for high treason.
