Monument De Vleugel

Memorial 'De Vleugel' (the wing) commemorates the intense aerial movements and the acts of war in the area of Nijmegen, Over-Betuwe and Arnhem.

The memorial was revealed on 14 March 2014. The nearby bridge since then has been renamed "Guards bridge" and the path on which the wing is located has received the formal name "Frontline path" (was: De Broekakkers)/

Also there is now a large trilingual information panel with a description of the monument.

The latest pictures were taken during a visit of RCMP-delegates on 3rd May 2023.
