Russian War Grave Linden

Linden Communal Cemetery contains the grave of a Russian partizan of the Second World War. This is the grave of Wassily Jurowlow (Jurovlov). Wassily was a member of a local resistance movement. His body was found in a forest of Linden on March 28, 1945 and was then buried in the cemetery of Linden. According to his headstone he died in 1943. It is unknown how this Russian has become involved in the local partisan corps.
