Memorial Crash Vickers Wellington KX-B

Near this spot on the 3rd January 1942, a small dinghy from Vickers Wellington bomber KX-B of the 311 (Czechoslovak) Squadron RAF was washed ashore. After six days at sea there were three survivors of the Original six members of the crew.

F/O Josef Mohr is buried in Bergen NH, Plot 1 Row D Grave 4.

Near the Memorial is an information board placed serious description of the crash and the KX-B Memorial.
