Memorial Resistance Movement Weiße Rose (White Rose)

This memorial commemorates Hans and Sophie Scholl. They were students at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University and members of the resistance-group Weiße Rose.
On 18 Febrary 1943, they were arrested while distributing illegal newspapers. Four days later they were executed by guillotine.
The memorial shows the last distributed newspaper, together with pictures of the resistance members.
