Grave Antoine-Adolphe Fonck

Antoine-Adolphe Fonck, who was killed nearby on 4 August 1914, is buried here on Thimister-Clermont Cemetery. He was the first Belgian soldier (2nd regiment Lancers) who fell in World War I.

The grave is also the war memorial of Thimister-Clermont for World War I.

To the left and right of the tomb there are several veterans of both wars buried.
