Fort V - Wlochy

This fortress was built in the '80s of the 19th century. It played no role during the German invasion of Poland in September 1939, but it was used as shelter during the fighting for Warsaw in 1944-1945.

The fort today:
The "Foundation for Preserved Historical Equipment (Fundacja Ochrony Zabytków Techniki Wojskowej)" is established in a part of the fortress these days. There are a number of military equipment from different periods (including the Second World War) standing outside the fort.
