Commonwealth War Cemetery Essex Farm

Next to this cemetery was during the period in between the Second of Ypres and the Third of Ypres (April 1915 – August 1917) an advanced dressing station.

Casualties from trench war in that period of time were buried here.

Essex Farm Cemetery in Ypres contains 1200 Commonwealth war graves from World War I. Of these, 103 are unidentified.
