Memorial Cross John C. Eisenhauer

This memorial cross commemorates the American soldier John C. Eisenhauer. The small hill behind the cross is the demolished Pillbox 358, the target of the attack.

Born at 23 March 1917 in New York City
Missing in action since 27 September 1944 in the area of
Raffelsbrand/Todtenbruch.
Recovered at 12 April 1948 forest district 157 by the forest worker
Johann Justen, Zweifall.
Buried in May 1948 on the American cemetery Neupre
(Neuville-en-Condroz), Belgium.
May he rest in peace.
