Memorial of the Putten Raid

(Netherlands, the - Guelders - Putten)

This is a memorial to commemorate the 552 inhabitants of Putten who died in German kamps where they were send to on 01/10/1944.

The statue is named "The Mourning Widow". Locally it is also known as "The Little Woman of Putten". It is looking in the direction of the Old Church of Putten, from where the men were deported.
