Memorial Poorterbrug Putten

The monument at the Poorterbrug (Oldenallerbrug) in Putten reminds the inhabitants of the village to the raids of 1 and October 2, 1944 in Putten. 661 men between 18 and 50 years old were moved to Amersfoort, after that they were deported to Neuengamme. Only 109 of these men survived the hardship of the camps.
At the bridge the attack was carried out which would lead to the raids.
