Deportation Memorial Grunewald Station
(Germany - Berlin - Berlin-Grunewald)
The Grunewald station was one of the three stations where a total of 55,000 Berlin Jews were deported. Mostly to Theresienstadt that functioned as a way station, or directly to the extermination camps.
Near the ramp to platform 17, where the trains departed, this appealing memorial is situated. The memorial is made of concrete, in it are the prints of human bodies.
