Belgian Pilots Memorial

In the Osseghempark (Heysel) is a memorial to the Belgian pilots killed during the Battle of England.

On October 5, 2001, Prince Philippe unveiled this monument in Laeken in memory of the Belgian pilots and crew members who fought in the Battle of Britain between July 10, 1940 and October 31, 1940.
The four meter high memorial was erected at the initiative of the National Federation of the Anciens of the Royal Air Force and South African Air Force 40-45.
It is within walking distance in the park between the Atomium and the American Theater.
