Dutch Resistance Monument Zwammerdam

At the General Cemetery in Zwammerdam is a resistance monument for four executed resistance fighters. Three of them are also buried here.

The resistance monument is also the war monument of Zwammerdam.

The text on the monument is:

They have fought the good fight
they have finished the course,
they have kept the faith3/12/1945
Furthermore, they are reserved, the crown
of justice. 2Tim. 4: 7 and 8a

The names on the memorial are:

Pieter Doelman, born 22-2-1921, executed 3/12/1945
Nicolaas Doelman, born 18-1-1897, executed 4/6/1945
Dirk van Ommering, born 1-9-1922, executed 3/12/1945
Dedelef G. Pronk, born 8/22/1922, executed 3/12/1945

To the left of the monument is a tombstone with the following names of soldiers:

Gijsbert Graafland

To the right of the monument is a tombstone with the following names of soldiers:
