War Memorial North Lopham

This memorial commemorates the residents of North Lopham who were killed or missing in World War I and World War II.

Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial.

This plaque, at the war memorial, commemorates the collission between two American bombers above North Lopham, on 29 January 1945. All 18 crewmembers died in the crash.
