Abbaye-aux-Hommes – Église du Vieux Saint-Étienne
(France - Basse-Normandie - Caen)
This church belongs to the Abbaye-aux-Hommes, which lies a few hundred meters away.
The church was bombed in 1944 by allied bombing. Today the church is still almost virtually the same as when just after the bombing. It is no longer accessible to the public and within the inner courtyard of the church lies in the corner a monument to commemorate to the bombing.
