Gedenkstätte Seelower Höhen / Russian War Cemetery "Seelower Höhen"

This war cemetery contains the graves of 198 Soviet soldiers and offciers of the 1st Belorussian Front who fell during the battle of Seelower Höhen in April 1945. A total of 35,000 Soviet soldiers were killed in the battle and many of them are still buried in a field grave in the region of Seelow.
