Fort Pannerden - S3 Casemate 1

(Netherlands, the - Guelders - Doornenburg)

This Dutch S3 casemate was built in 1939 as support of Fort Pannerden. This fort and surrounding casemates were attacked by German forces in the first days of May 1940. The damage of the fighting that took place here is still visible on the casemate.
