THESE STONES RECALL THE BIGGEST DISASTER IN ALBLASSERDAM EVER TOOK PLACE.
ON 11 MEI 1940 THE CENTRE OF THE VILLAGE WAS AFFECTED BY A GERMAN BOMBARDMENT.
32 PEOPLE WERE KILLED.
FROM THE RUBBLE, STONES WERE REUSED. THESE WERE THE LAST.
