Graves Resistance Fighters Benschop

(Netherlands, the - Utrecht - Benschop)

At the N.H. cemetery behind the church in Benschop is a joint grave for the three resistances fighters who died in the "Drama of Benschop".
These heroes were executed on 17 February 1945.
These are the graves of:

Jan Aart van Ieperen, Teacher, 30 years
Jasper van Ieperen, bakersman, 31 years
Hendrik Sattler, Clerk, 20 years

Their names are also listed on the war memorial in Benschop, Benedeneind Zuidzijde 361, the farm where they died.
