Bunker PL 10 Lixhe
This is bunker PL 10 of the sector Pontisse-Lixhe in the 4th line PFL (la Position Fortifiée de Liège) of defense for the city of Liège.
The bunker seems to have had a direct hit. But this is not the case. This bunker would have a turret. After the war when the bunkers were taken out of use, the turret of this bunker was sold as scrap. Since that time rain and frost caused damaged the concrete and caused it to rot.
Just 25 meters form bunker PL 10, bunker PL 10-2 is located. This bunker was to guard the road. (Bunker PL 10 was to guard the river Meuse).
