Memorials Central Station Tilburg

On the tower with the carillon of the Central Railway Station of Tilburg there has been a plaque installed as a memory of all citizens of Tilburg that have perished during the years of the Second World War.

The text can approximately be translated as follows:
May it be that this set of bells
maintain the remembrance
of the citizens that gave their lives
during the battle and resistance
in the years 1940 – 1945.
