Liberation Memorial Vlaardingen

The liberation memorial is a statue with three bronze figures, one man, one woman and a child. They stand on a pedestal of over one meter high.

The pedestal contains the text:
'Honorary our fighters 1940-1945'[/ i]

The memorial is surrounded by a stone wall.

The statue stands on the Verploegh Chasseplein in Vlaardingen. Here is also the commemoration of the war casualties held each year on 4 May..
