The sad woman
(Netherlands, the - South Holland - Vlaardingen)
The statue of the mourning woman is a bronze statuette of slightly more than 40 centimeters high and it is situated at the cemetery Emaus in Vlaardingen. The sculpture was created by the Belgian artist Willy Kreitz.
The statue is a tribute to all women during the Second World War who lost their husbands or children.
