Plaque in Chapel Duizel
(Netherlands, the - North Brabant - Duizel)
This Mary Chapel in Duizel was built in early 1950 as a thanks that Duizel was spared for major war violence.
There is a plaque in the chapel that commemorates the victims of war who died in Duizel, which are especially many Allied soldiers who died in the emergency hospital in Duizel. It also commemorates a Lancaster crew and three Dutch nationals who are buried in Duizel.
