Memorial Wellington III X3798

This small plaque commemorates the killed crewmembers of the Wellington III X3798 of the 156 Sqn which crashed on this location on 12 August 1942.

The two killed crewmembers, Pilot F/Sgt Fred Harker and P/O Charles Lenover, are buried on Tildonk Churchyard. The three other crewmembers, F/Sgt Jack d’Arcy, F/Sgt Ken Morrison and F/Sgt Bruce Weaver, were captured by the Germans.
