Kriegerdenkmal Manderfeld / War Memorial Manderfeld
(Belgium - Liège - Manderfeld)
This memorial commemorates the inhabitants of Manderfeld who died in the First and Second World War.
Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial.
Manderfeld is located in the German-language area of Belgium and was part of Germany until the end of World War I. After that it became Belgian. During World War II, the area became German again and the men were forced to serve in the German army.
