WWII Memorial Park (Naha Police Barracks)
(Solomon Islands - Honiara)
This memorial complex is located on the property of the Naha Police barracks and is part of the Solomon Islands National Museum. It's dedicated to the following Allied units who fought in the Battle of Guadalcanal: The "Civilian Conservation Corps", "New Zealand 3rd Army Division" and "6th Marine Division". There is also a Japanese 150mm type 96 gun and a Japanese war memorial commemorating the 3179 killed soldiers of the Kawaguchi Brigade.
