War Memorial Lascud

This monument was designed by the sculptor Ioan Toganel and erected in the summer of 1990. The 5m high mixed structure bears a plastic cross in the top. It was raised to commemorate the Romanian Army for their fightings in the autumn of 1944. The Romanian inscription reads: "To the Romanian heroes fallen in a sacrifice for the liberation of the North-Western part of Ardeal from the fascist-horsiest occupation".
