The Pentagon

The Pentagon is the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense. The bulding was used from 1942 on, and was completed in 1943.
Parts of the building, one of the largest buildings in the world, are open to the public. Guided tours (duration, 1,5 hours) leave every 30 minutes from the visitors center.
