Memorials Station Gare de l'Est

These plaques, in Gare de l'Est railway-station, commemorate:

- The railway-workers Georges Topenot and Jean Dirand. They were members of the resistance and were shot by the Germans on 19 August 1944.
- The people who were deported from the Gare de l'Est in World War II.
- The railway employees of the SNCF in this region who were killed in World War II.

The plaque at the entrance of Gare de l'Est commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of World War I.
